These are wooden langstroth frames with heavy waxed plastic foundation, you can choose between 9 1/8" deep brood frame with black foundation or a 6 1/4" medium frame with white foundation for honey supers.

The heavy coating of wax is really important in our wet and cool Northwest springs. If you are starting out with these frames in springtime, you can spray them with sugar syrup and provide plenty of food.

These wooden frames are quite durable and are constructed with 1.5" staples and wood glue. Come assembled.
